Alderson Soon to have his Reputation Destroyed

There's some new news on the Mets GM search.  It's long been known that Sandy Alderson would be the front runner for the job, but apparently he's been asked back for a second interview.  Let me put this delicately.  Sandy Alderson, if you're out there reading this (and if you are, might I suggest finding a hobby), run...don't walk...run as fast you can away from the Wilpons and the Mets.  You know the phrase, "I'm a hot mess"?  That was coined by a member of the Mets front office three years ago.  It's not going to get any better until the Fred and Jeff Wilpon finally decide to end their reign of terror and sell the team.

You've had a distinguished career in baseball.  You challenged conventional wisdom by employing statistical analysis in your front office, and rebuilt two franchises (Oakland and San Diego) from the ground up.  You were the Executive VP of Baseball Operations for the Commissioner.   My suggestion to you is retire.  If the best job you can get is working for the New York Mets, then you might as well just walk (no wait, run) away.  Go out while you're still ahead.
