According to Enrique Rojas of ESPN Deportes, the Orioles have signed Vlad Guerrero to a one year deal worth $8M. Ken Rosenthal of Fox Sports and Jeff Zrebiak of the Baltimore Sun have both confirmed the report.
Man, the Orioles are total suckers. They totally fell for that "mystery team" BS. Simply amazing. Oh, and by the way, he's making as much as Damon and Manny combined. Who do you think got the better deal on this one: the Rays or Orioles? Advantage Rays.
If you ever are looking for reasons why the Orioles finish near the bottom of the league every year, look no further than this deal as a prime example. They probably overpaid for Vlad by $6M.
